Our Story
Founded in New Zealand with a commitment to quality and performance, MSE Outfitters specializes in carefully selected outdoor apparel, footwear, camping equipment, and accessories. We understand that the right gear can make all the difference between an ordinary outing and an extraordinary adventure.
About the Founder and store Owner, Richard lives and works in the Manawatu in New Zealand. If you're a hiker or hunter you may have seen him out and about - he is also a bushcraft and preparedness enthusiast. For this reason you may have noticed some specialized items like Geiger counters and other prepper items amongst our inventory. While our primary forte is camping and hiking, you may see more survival gear too.
This is why I chose the company name as I did, so that the scope is broad enough to grow as we grow. I will also try as much as possible to keep to natural fibers, as hiking, camping, and survival all share a common theme and help to keep us healthy.
